H4 visa

Xiaobaitu & other Daxia,
Now I have H1b and will work for another employer by H1b transfer. Question: If my wife goes back to China during my H1b transfer process (After I get the H1b transfer receipt notice, but not the final formal I-797), can she get H4 visa? If she shows my former I-797 (linked to my current job), is that OK? Thank you so much!
