公民的父母不需要等排期?

昨天看了一份中文报纸,说公民的父母不需要等排期.我觉得不可能,如果真是这样那就太好了, 我儿子是在这里出生的. 冒着被耻笑的危险上来问问,在美国生了小孩没有任何绿卡申请上的优势吗?_:$
