Forming a LLC and immigration status

I am currently in my OPT and I am going to apply GC through my upcoming marriage in May. But now me and my partner who is American wants to form an LLC. We have customers already and we need to form the LLC asap.

IS it OK for me to be a member of the LLC now while I am still on F1? or what should I do?

Please advice.
