OPT 过期，新的H1B还没拿到，是否可以拿工资？？

各位前辈， 本人在用OPT工作（博士后），五月4号过期，但是与现在学校的合同五月15日才到期，而新的H1B还没拿到，不知如何是好，是否我五月4号以后就不能拿钱， 也不用上班了？？？？ 还有就是 OPT过期后还能在美国待多久呀，不会立马让偶滚蛋吧， 那也太不仗义了吧。。 急死人了。。。
