WOM case number question

I filed WOM at Boston, MA last week. the clerk assigned the case number as 07 CA XXXXX WGY, however, I got the mail last week, the case number became 1:07-cv-XXXXX, notice here with same last 5 digit, but change 'CA' to 'cv'. Online also show as 1:07-cv-XXXXX. My question is this is typo or the way they deal with case number ? Could the defendant will be able to track the case properly with 'wrong' case number ?
