To Wojian or Fa Jushi

Both of you are so experienced. So I am asking your expert on my situation. My I-140 has just been approved. My wife and child are still in China. I am a H1 holder. Does the I-140 approval affect my wife's H4 visa? Do I need to mention it in the H4 visa application form?
In addition, my wife and I will file 485 together soon. My child will stay in China for one more year. I will try to get him back USA with H4 later. Can I add my child to 485 after his arrival? If yes, my child's 485 will be approved with us at the same time, or significant delay? My child is only 7 yrs old.
