Yes. It is very important!!!! I did both when I moved during 485 pending. Thank God that I did that. An officer called me from TSC before approving my Greencard regarding that. The on-line system and phone system are different. They will send you a confirmation after you did the phone call. You need that as the evidence. I just got my Green Card! :-)
