xiaobaitu, is the A# the application number on the I-485 receipt

i saw that you suggested some people to put N/A in the A# field even they have some kind of A#. i am wondering that the A# is the application number on the I-485 receipt notice, right? and this number should be used in the A# field when filling new forms, such as I-765, rihgt? thanks!
