Name check cleared, but GC still not coming

I got to know my name check was cleared by FBI on Jan 18, but two months have passed, my case (I-485) was still pending. I called the service center, and was told they won't do anything within 6 months after name check clearing. Does anyone have similar experience or tips, and could you share with me.

By the way, my I-485 might be among those worst case. I ted application in MAY 2004.MAY 2004. _:'(
