It is difficult to judge the progress of your case by the way other cases go – for example, in one interview I attended in DC, the officer told us that all security checks had been returned and the I-485 would be approved the next day. 90 days went by without an approval so we made an inquiry, and the district office told us that the security checks were still pending. We didn’t receive a response to any of the repeated letters sent to the interviewing officer. The approval came 4.5 months after the interview date.
With that said, I would wait for the 90 day mark before either writing a letter to the officer or calling the customer service line.
For elmo2006, XBT is right, pls read the story my lawyer told me
