I-485 rejected, 请教小白兔

我的EB2 I-140批准后，又申请了优先日期较早的 EB3 I-140，也获得批准。律师递交了I-485，并注明是用EB3的优先日期来申请EB2。结果今天律师通知说我的I-485被拒，原因是系统无法找到我的EB3 I-140的批准。

请问小白兔这种情况可能发生吗? 或许律师自己犯了错误而不告诉我? 这个律师以前一口咬定不能 carry over 优先日期。律师说移民局会在两个星期内解决系统问题，两个星期后再重新为我递交申请。请问小白兔移民局会不会因为曾经拒绝过我的申请而盯上我，给我制造麻烦。
