Xiao Bai Tu and other experts, please help to answer!

My son will go to college next year, yet we are I-485 pending for 1.5 years (NIW) and just wating like all of the unfortunate people and parents. We are facing financial problems, I am asking (I cannot find the sure info.) if we are eligible for applying for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), it needs #SSN or green card, I am not sure if we are fine, saw a post before (say I-484 pending 1 year was eligible) but I cannot find the source.

Xiao Bai Tu and other experts who have kids for colleges, could you please give me answer and let me if I also have other options for the finacial aids?

• easier way: apply EAD for him first, then apply SSN -d_outside- ♂ (0 bytes) () 03/13/2007 postreply 18:05:44
