给议员/第一夫人写信管用吗?

议员的秘书回信说"there is no way to expedite the NAME CHECK process, and even no way to tell how much longer it will be".
虽然失望, 但或许是实话. 给第一夫人写信会有不同吗? 哪位写信起了作用, 能分享信是怎么写的吗?
