anything that may make your work inconvenient! like if you did experiments, you might have some restrictions to enter some labs without a GC. or if you do simulations, using a supercomputer may also requirs that you have a GC. it is a hard part of petition letter, so you need to be a little creative for everyone has different situations.

I am surely not an expert in this issue, I am also DIYing my case, but was already advised that it is important issue to argue. I just give you a little hint about what may be missed in your application, and you should do some work on it.
