Most lawyers do not suggest to submit I-485 while I-140 is pending. So the question is the BCIS will start the process of I-485 accroding to:

1) the date shown on your I-485 receipt
2) the date your fingerprint is received by BCIS
3) the date you notify BCIS that your I-140 is approved
