something that I can think about:
1. borrow money from friends. As long as you just need that for a short time period, it should be fine. I borrowed once and most of people are wiilling to help, as long as they believe that you will pay back.
2. borrow money from credit card. A lot of credit card company offer 0% APR. So you can just borrow a large amount from them. Citi/chase are good choice. I once borrowed more than $20,000 from both of them and paid back before the promotion expire. No problem at all.
