Xiaobaitu, i need your help

I got the green card this year. But i found a job in china. I don't know how to keep this green card if i work in china. I heard some green card holder work in china and just come back one time each year. And they keep green card for more than five years. I don't know how to do that. But this is true story. Can you give me some suggestions.
