再谈 FP code 与485

1/2005 Both took FP code1
7/2005 Both took FP code2
8/2005 Hu*****and retake FP code1
1/2007 Hu*****and take FP code3, said it is expired. But he never did FP code 3 before.

Q:
1. Am I suppose to receive a letter from USCIS to do the FP code3 as well?

2. I searched for the posts about FP code and 485 process，but get confused from all the different answers. Somebody said FP code1 means the green card will be approved soom. Others said, FP code3 means that. It seems that I can not tell if our NC is clear or not, or how long I still need to wait for the GC, just from the FP code, is that right？
