Canadian PR

An applicant in China applied for Canadian PR from Canadian Consulate at Buffalo when she was a high school student. It took her a quite few years to get the PR visa. Her visa will expire on April 2007.

Right now she is a fourth year university student in China. To get the bachelor degree, she has to study in her university in China till beginning of July of 2007. I am just wondering for a special case like this, would it be possible for the visa to be extended for three or four months or so? If so, how to do it? Do you know any case in which the PR visa was extended? Thank you.

We do understand that it might mean she needs to have another health exam.
