出生证问题

老公是公民，最近开始准备办绿卡。本人出生地与家人现居住地不同，办出生
证，是不是必须让我家人回我出生的医院办出生证，寄到美国再公证？还是有
别的办法？

另外，交材料时，是只交英文公证？还是出生证原件&公证？或者只交原件？。。。。
