H1 visa

Now I am in Euopean and have obtained the H1 permission by BCIS. I plan to apply visa next week. Do you think I can obtain the visa immediately or need long time? By the way, is possible to be checked for background for I study chemistry. How much possiblity for obtianing the H1 visa?
