会因为有移民倾向不能返美

问题1：如果我先递交I-140，是否因为有移民倾向，导致小孩不能调整为F1?
If F1 application is before I-140, it should be OK. Since your child will be adult, he can decide his immigration.

问题2：小孩2月份18岁，如果我能在他21岁前递交485,他是否还有希望得到绿卡？
It is likely. If the Visa Bulletin moves well, he has the chance. But, after he s I-485 and changing his status to AOS, he can not apply any non-immigration visa, F1(OPT), J1, etc.

问题3：如果小孩明年会去做08奥运志愿者，会不会因为有移民倾向不能返美（小孩来美后没有离开过）？
It is very likely to happen if he applies F1 visa in China. If VO knows you have ted I-140, his F1 will definitely be denied. The answer is very clear from your last question. He can only go back to China after he gets Advanced Parole. But, his status will be AOS after he comes back and only can work with EAD.
