小白兔，fingerprint 和Biometric 有什么区别吗？

我和太太05年作FP，太太接到的是fingerprint 通知，我是biometric通知。上个星期受到移民局第二次作FP的通知，这次我们两个人都是ASC Biometric，code 3.

请问有什么不一样吗？
