travel to China question with GC!!

i got green card with investiment immigration last year. i got the card when i entered US. now due to immergency, i need to go back China, but i didn't get citizenship yet. I was told i need to apply for AP in order to come back. Can anyone here help me for traveling document? appreciate very much!!
