Ask a question for my friend: He got his H-1B from the previous

employer and and moved to a new company. His H-1B tranfer has been ted but did not get the approval yet. He got the receipt notice. (The company's attorney deals with it and did not do premium processing). Now, he has to renew his driver's license. What docoment should he take? The old H-1B approval letter, or the new receipt, or the both?
