EAD renewal news (NSC)

My current EAD card will expire in about a week. However the EAD renewal is still pending. I called USCIS today regarding my renewal. To my surprise, the lady told me that I can show my employer the receipt of the renewal and present new EAD card within 90 days after the current card expires.

I can't believe it because I'm about to inform my employer of stopping payroll.

BTW, my receipt date is Oct 10, with in 60 days. I should apply earlier.

Anybody has EAD renewal pending in NSC pls call USCIS to confirm this.
