Can I quit job after I got GC? Help!!

Please help me if you know if it is perfectoly alright. thanks in advance.
I got GC through NIW 7 months ago, but my spouse didn't get GG, hhis I485 is still pending(name check), I was the principal applicant for the GC. I have continued working in the same field for 7 months after I got GC this year. Now I am thinking about quitting my job and planning on staying at home for a whole year with no income from me. But my spouse is working with EAD card, I am worried if the fact that I am not working will affect my spouse's GC, Do I have to work until my spouse gets his GC?
Anybody has any good idea? especially Xiao Baitu, Radiology.....Thank you very much.
