Citizen or not?

Hi there,

I've been holding green card more than 5 years, now is qualified
for applying US citizenship. I don't feel the urgent, but my
wife want to apply. Just wonder what most of you think of citizenship, pros and cons, economically, politically, pragmatically or philosophically. Any comment is welcomed.
