傻傻地问一下，有了h1b后想申请绿卡，step by step的程序应该是怎样

想知道基本的step by stey 的程序，就是：
1 什么时候该提交什么样的申请，先申请什么后申请什么。
2 批准的时间大概要多长。
3 一定要通过律师才能申请吗？
