Losing job. Urgent question about 485. xiaobaitu and other exper

I have a urgent situation. My H1B will reach six year limits in April 2007. The company is shutting down within 4 months. My I-140 is approved and 485 has been file for more than two years. 1. Can I apply for the 3 year H1B extension now?
2. If I cannot find a similar job by next April and my 485 is gone, can I use this 3 year H1_B if I find a job at later time?
3. If I find a similar job before next April but salary is $10,000 short, will my 485 be OK?
Your kindest help is highly appreciated.
