1.I-539. Need a detailed arrangement to avoid a quick denial. B2 is hard to get an apporval. The application is usually for buying you more time.You will likely recieve a RFE before final decision. Find another job quick.
2. Yes, if you file before you got laid off.
3. It depends, in most sevice centers, two-three months.
