Xiaobaitu and the other experts, please help on chaning my I-94

大侠们，

I am going to change a job.I used my AP early this year and I have a valid H1B. There is no time for me to wait for the approval of my H1B even use premium proess since my starting date is so close now. I don't want to complain the efficiency of the international office, but they are so, so slow.
The international office of my future school told me to go to the local USCIS office to change my cureent I-94 which shows AOS, Parolee, to a new I-94 using my current H1B approval notice.

Xiaobaitu, my two cents, and other experts: Is there any effect on my pending I-485 if I changed my I-94 in the local office? Is there anything I should pay attention?
