钓鱼&绿卡

公司正在准备帮我申请绿卡，今天却发生一件不幸的事。下午去钓鱼，因为拿了５条不到尺寸的鱼，收到了罚款单，上面说如不服可上法庭。我刚来这个州不久。以前我在的州对此种鱼无任何尺寸要求。上法庭有用吗？请问此事会对绿卡申请产生影响？我们的背景调查会有问题吗？谢谢大家的意见。祝大家中秋快乐。
