Hi, I am an F1 visa holder, now working with OPT.

As dependent of my hu*****and (H1B hodler), I filed 485 20 days (On Sept. 14th) ago, and haven't got receipt yet.

I want to wait for the receipt, so that I can apply for emergency AP.However,I have to go home immediately. I was told by my lawyer if I go to China without AP, my application will be deemed abandoned, which is very serious. And I also found the specific rules on USCIS website.

My question is: Can I still come back with H4 visa even if my 485 application is revoked?

Anybody went through similar situation?
