Xiaobaitu, please help

Used AP to come back to U.S. from Canada last week. They issued me a new I-94 card (number is different from the one on my H-1B). My 2nd term H-1B is valid through 2009.

What status am I now? Is my H-1B still valid? Do I have to apply for EAD?
