But when I took a look of the rights of permanent resident from USCIS website, it did mention that PR has right to vote local and state elections which does not require citizenship.http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/PermRes.htm

I assume that both Senators and Congressman still would like to win our support by helping us.
