请教小白兔等大侠:NIW/EB1

本人phd 已经毕业,现在在公司工作,公司说绿卡最早要明年10月才给办.所以,考虑大家说的NIW/EB1.有几个问题:
1. NIW是自己办的,那EB1 Outstanding researcher是公司支持的,还是自己也可以办?
2. 推荐信上,NIW/EB1有什么不同?就是需要侧重不同的东西吗?
3. 如果相近时间办理NIW/EB1,有什么注意事项?
4. NIW/EB1都一定要请律师吗?
