关于婚姻绿卡

我是2002年6月结婚的，同年12月面试通过，但是由於程序变化，移民官没有在我的护照上盖章，从此以后音讯杳无。我的律师也无计可施。只想问一下，如果结婚超过两年才等到绿卡，绿卡就真的没有限制了吗？不再是两年期的了吗？多谢。
