how to send email to CSC to check the status?

Remember I read post here that somebody sent email to CSC to check the status and got the response from CSC. I want to do the same, but don't know how. Could anybody tell me how and where to send email to CSC to check? Thanks for your help!

Mine is EB3, PD: 12/01, I140 approved and I485 pending for 1.5 years.
