It is expensive. I-485 is very easy and doesn't require too much of work. I paid about $1,000 for everything, including the physical exam, application fee and finger print fee. Later, I applied for EAD and AP by myself and paid that by myself. For EAD, it only costs $170 (or $180). Same with AP.
