About fingerprinting for I-485

I did my first fp in April 2002, it expired and I did another in August 2003. But my online status still says my fp was done in April 2002. Does this mean my second fp was lost by FBI?
I got another notice for fp in Dec 2003, I went to the fp office and was told it was a mistake and I don't have to do fp again. Now I am still waiting and the online status is still the same.
What should I do other than waiting? Thanks!!
