Never know I485 was approved and GC was sent last year

Tell you a story.
lms is right. On 08/16/2006, I posted a note here asking for help with the online notice of USCIS. It is said that " on 10/11/2005, document is sent based on the approval or registration of file to the applicant." we did not get it neither my lawyer.

lms said that it is approved but others said it could be asking more material. Our lawyer did not say anything except that nothing is received at the office. We guess our lawyer is also confused.

Yesterday we were informed by our university lawyer (another lawyer) that it should be approved. Today we called the 1800 number and get this confirmation. We were told that the GC could be lossed and we have to file a document to ask for a reissuance.This is also a major reason why we did not get ERC renewal approval after ting the file for almost three months.

Such a confusing world! Isn't it? Just a good news for those who got the same information as us and had no idea what it is.
