EAD DIY possible?

Hi EB2 I140 approved, 485 pending, hired a lawyer to do all this. As I485 is pending for a while, want to apply for an EAD card, do I have to use my lawyer to do that or I can do it myself? It is really a simple form, but my lawyer wants to charge a very un-reasonable fee. Thank you very much! And best wishes to everybody here!
