I am going to transfer to another lab. The potential mentor is a smart and very nice full professor. He has a lot of fundings but he told me all of his fundings only can support citizen or PR. I am I-485 pending status, may I apply an EAD card to replace my H-1B visa and get support from his fundings? Many thanks in advance.
