请问小白兔及各位大侠

Somebody said that I485 processing is individul and does not depend on the primary applicant. I have a friend who her hu*****and died before the I485 approval then the FP needed to be renew, my friend renewed her FP but her hu*****and no longer could do it. My friend has EAD for working. Can she get the GC based on this situation? What she should do the next?
