各位能人智士：CIA 查什么？

因H1B要到期，公司的律师帮我写信给congressman询问我的I-485进展。(因我没有独立申请绿卡，时间已经不容许再申请了)。不过congressman的回复让我们更糊涂了。他们说我老公的安全检查卡在CIA了。CIA做什么？我们可是大大的良民！有没有谁听说个这种查法？怎么办？
