Hi guy：preliminary processing was complete

因为我给我的一个朋友也monitor他的case状态(Family based). 我在两天内收到两个emails有关这个case:

USCIS-CSSO
On May 2, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 990 and 999 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

CRIS
This case has been approved. On May 3, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

不知道是不是巧合该case很快就批了.这个"preliminary processing was complete" 都发生在RFE case,有可能是指RFE达到要求,也很可能整个case已经过了.
