The way i did for one of my friends is

1) We have written a letter to request 485 switch or substitute 485-based I-140, with two I-140 approval notices and 485 receipt. If it works, that is it. If not, we will go the next step.

2) e a second 485 application.

Then the question came to my mind is "Can we save the fingerprint fee for the second 485 since you have done FP for your pending 485?" What is your opinion, Radiology? Welcome to discuss?
