I don't think so.

usually the gap between two status should be less than a month or so. the longest is about 60 days. your case is way over.

the only arguement is that when you opt ended, you already ted application to switch to your new f status. but it is your responsibility to remain in legal status before your f1 became effective. so if the officer is nice, he will let it pass, but now he is asking for evidence, that means he thinks you should have maintained some legal status between your opt and 2nd f1.
