About File an H1B Petition: does anyone know how the lawyer file

Can he or she file it online with USCIS and send the mail at the same time? Or Only mail works?

My case is a long story of stupid delay by the boss and law firm. Just had everthing completed and send out to the law firm. They will receive it tomorrow morning. So I'm thinking when it can be really filed with USCIS. I know it could be very late now already. feel so sad.. stupid boss
